RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All students are required to wear a white uniform, white flat shoes and plain tights during school hours. A full-length navy overcoat and navy court shoes are also part of the uniform for Beauty Therapy students.
2. A dark navy blue cardigan may be worn. Hair must always be kept
clear off the face for hygienic purposes. Nails must be short (no
nail polish), no jewellery should be worn other than a wrist watch.
All Body Therapy and Complimentary Therapy students are required
to wear white tunic navy pants and navy flat shoes. White dentist
tunic and navy pants for male students.
3. No unruly behaviour will be tolerated. No drugs, alcohol, cigarettes,
chewing gum or food will be allowed on the school premises.
4. Alcohol found on any student or illegal drugs (on or off) the
school premises is seen as grounds for dismissal.
5. Students are assigned a clean up duty for the day as well as
being held responsible for their own working area.
6. No personal phone calls area allowed in the School except in
cases of emergency. The receptionist will take a message for the
student in an emergency. Students should advise family and friends
of the school policy.
7. A kit and uniform inspection may be asked of the students at
any time. Tests will be given continuously throughout the duration
of the course.
8. Students are expected to model for practical classes. Any student
who cannot do so, by reason of medical deficit must notify the school
upon enrolment.
9. The school reserves the right to alter times of classes as it
sees fit and appropriate.
10. Classes start promptly at 9.30am and 7pm. Students are asked
to be in attendance 10 minutes before classes commence. Punctuality
is essential, as no instruction will be duplicated.
11. Students who arrive late for classes will be marked absent in
the register for that session. Students who are consistently late
will not be permitted to attend the session.
12. All students are considered absent for the morning of an afternoon
session if they leave the school without prior permission.
13. Any student absent for over a total of 15 days in the whole
course may not be eligible for examination. Students must telephone
if absent. More than 3 days absent requires a doctor’s certificate.
14. Examination dates will be given during the school year. Failure
to take examinations for any reason whatsoever will result in the
student having to wait for the next examination date.
15. Large sums of money or valuables are not to be brought into
the school. The school cannot be responsible or liable for loss
or damage.
